My get pushed partner for this week - Annie Michelle @anniemc051 - said, "How about for this week, your challenge is to somehow incorporate a book or books into a picture! Especially if it is a book that means a lot to you, that would make it extra special! "
The choice of book was easy and I've chosen one particular verse that means a lot to me: "But now abide faith, hope, love, these three: but the greatest of these is love."
I've also included a photo of the love in my life, indeed the love of my life... Mrs S at the time we met.
@anniemc051 - Hi Annie Michelle - Just when you thought I'd forgotten my challenge, here's my offering. I'm sure you won't be surprised by my choice of book and for you, the Bible in the picture and from which the quote is taken is the New American Standard version. I've featured the Bible before in my project, on my fifth day on here in fact - http://365project.org/vignouse/365/2014-01-05
@lleo Thank you Gwenllian - yes we had the whole of chapter 13 as a reading. Funnily enough, for the photo in this image I was going to use one of our marriage but then I decided to go with this one of Mrs S on her own... she doesn't like this one much - I love it!
Love the composition and the book you chose and the way you took this! Really wonderful and beautiful! First Corinthians 13 is such a beautiful passage, I think it might be one that I am memorizing in a program I'm doing next Spring! :)
Wonderful response to the challenge. Dave and I had Corinthians 13 at our wedding. We have so many Bibles here. I carried a white one with a small spray of flowers when Mr O and I married. For my main study I use the one Dave bought me as his first present.mit's. New King James translation. I also have an inter linear Greek New Testament and. Key Word Bible I find useful.
Thank you for an interesting challenge.
