Luminous Trees

On leaving Paimpont Abbey this evening - Mrs S and I are in charge of opening and closing this week - my eye was caught by the floodlit trees in front of the Abbey, at the edge of the lake.

The lighting is very pretty on the naked trees. I like the comp with the fence and the sky included. I would have been tempted to focus just on the tree and that wouldn't have worked to catch the ambiance of the evening.
