In reality, the inaugural walk along the newly completed footpath on the northern, swampy shore of Paimpont lake to complete the circular route around the lake. The opening of this new section was preceded by an official opening ceremony and a cocktail reception on the wooded shore of the lake.
Most definitely one of my favorite of your photos, Richard. One's eyes follow those busy legs with each step. I especially like the sandal action on the lower right.
Fun shot and fun way to walk, Though I can imaging how disappointed a wheelchair, buggy or user would be to get so far round the lake and not be able to continue.
@callymazoo Thanks Cally: this section - about 2.2 kilometres - of the walk around the lake is clearly marked at each end (several times) as being unsuitable for people of reduced mobility including young children and prams/pushchairs. The remaining 2kms as well as the Parish Gardens which border on the lake, are accessible to all.
great way to focus on the walk
