It happens often that I am attracted by something rather banal but I can't help going back and photographing it again and again. Eventually I exorcise my demons by posting the photo as my shot of the day. And so it is that today's post is a cathartic rendering of the spindly pine tree that stands tall and proud amidst its sturdier brethren!
Trees are like people, sometimes they just fail to thrive. Despite its puniness, you have managed to make it the centre of attention. Lovely balanced image.
