...today it was our turn to host our walking group but, unfortunately, the day turned out to be rainy and miserable. It finally stopped raining while everyone was having tea after a wet walk.
After all our visitors had left and we had cleared up, I went outside to put rubbish in the waste - the sky was entirely dark except for one small bright patch in the west which caused me to rush back indoors for a camera!
@vignousefollower As a lowlight shot taken with the baby Sony RX100 at ISO 3200, there was bound to be some unavoidable noise in this image, but there was a little untreated colour noise that I've now removed and the 'graining' you speak of is now at a lower level. It's not a bad final result given the camera I was using.
