A welcome sight at dusk... by vignouse

A welcome sight at dusk...

My favourite watering-hole in the village, just across the square from Paimpont Abbey... very handy as I called in after closing the Abbey for the night.

More ambiance viewed on black...
A very familiar spot.

@aponi Thank you Kathryn: I don't know how old exactly but no more than 130-150 years maximum... there are houses in the village more than twice that age: mine is about 260 years old for the earliest part of the building.

Super dusky light, sky color and great clarity on the store details

Wonderful on black, it looks so welcoming with the light shining out. Every village should have one of these!

Nothing so inviting here to wet your whistle, so to speak. Does pop on black.

I'd certainly pop in there for a drink.

Bar and butcher's are words too simplistic to do credit to this family run establishment. Long may it continue.

Delightful composition enhanced hugely by human element walking on. Fav.
