Paimpont: view from the lake path at twilight.

This is the view back from about 300m down the lake path. The house is on the Digue which is a retaining wall for the lake and the village is out of view on the right.

BoB... but you knew that ;-))
wonderful reflection

Outstanding...the only thing lacking is a chair, but have a fav anyway

@graemestevens Funnily enough, I took this image just at the place that the two chairs were left that I featured in December in my Doubletakes album so their metaphysical aura is probably in there somewhere ;-))

I like the lights on in the homes, which are then reflected in the lake.

This area sure does well in both colour and b&w! I love the glassy water leading me to the building in the distance :)

Great view. I've seen a number of your images from around about this same place, but this is certainly one of your best. Fav.

BTW, did you purchase an X-T2? I see the X-T20 announced today and available in a month. I might spring for that. Certainly not the GFX50S. perhaps if I were a studio portrait photographer, but for general purpose use it does seem rather pointless. As do all "medium format" cameras as far as I am concerned.

@frankhymus Thanks Frank - very much appreciated. Yes, I've had the XT-2 for a few months now and a month ago I picked up a new XT-1 at half-price. Both of them - together with the XT-10 - all equipped with prime lenses are being used for a project on birth. They live in a bag ready to go for when I get a 'phone call telling me that I can photograph a birth or a caesarian birth at the local maternity hospital. I'm not using them for anything else at the moment so that they are always ready when the call comes. They are perfect for this project being small, discreet, silent with the electronic shutter enabled, excellent in low light and the Fuji lenses are so sharp and detailed. The photographs will not appear on here for obvious reasons.

I'm a sucker for your night/low-light shots. This is no exception.
