This is a view of the east transept of the principal church of Josselin in Brittany; the stained glass windows are particularly rich in colour and detail. Construction began in the 13thC, the last major works were completed in 1949.
This is for my PLAY project - you can read more about it in my profile - where I'll be using a different prime lens for each month of the year: for February it's the Fujinon 18mm f/2 on an APS-C sensor camera (today the Fuji X-Pro1) - the equivalent of a 28mm lens on a full-frame camera.
This is so lovely. The light direction fooled me. Often light is coming in through a stained glass window so it is "lit up". However the light in this image seems to be coming from a different direction.
