Gorse... or perhaps GORSE! by vignouse

Gorse... or perhaps GORSE!

It's a weed but all the field borders and hedgerows locally are currently a blaze of yellow thanks to the gorse bushes which are almost the first to come into bloom in Spring.
Here it will be the Forsythia which is also yellow.

@joansmor It's always a race between the two here - the Forsythia is more delicate I think.

Nice clear focus on the golden yellow of this deadly plant! Its so bright, it can be difficult getting this focus!

@maggiemae Now it's interesting you should say that, I often find that my close-up pictures of Gorse are out-of-focus without knowing why!

Also called Furse over here, it do put on a pretty display in March, but can spread at an alarming rate if not controlled.

VML the energy of yellow blooms in Spring...imitating sunshine, perhaps?

It's pretty. Not something that grows around here that I'm aware of.

Isn't spring out of focus to begin with? I do like the bright contrasted against the subdued blur or bokeh.
