I was delighted that so many of you liked my rather gritty rendering in yesterday's post of the gloriette at the top of our garden. I set out to capture a particular mood but your reactions set me to wondering what other moods I could capture of the same scene.
This, I guess, is about as far away from yesterday's image as you can get - but it's the same scene.
@joansmor@featherstone26 I very rarely drink whisky before dinner I have been known to have the odd G&T now and then though... note that I'm deliberately not mentioning how much whisky I drink after dinner.
mmm now i am a sucker for deliberate blur and bokeh ... not sure i have often seen it in your project before?... i think it works so well here for the gloriette, although i also like your gritty b&w version. i like the fact that i can still see the gloriette's structure. and what a pretty word - a new french one for me - thank you :)
@pistache Thank you Clare: you're pretty safe in saying that you've never seen this kind of image from me before... you would be equally safe in saying that you probably won't see another one ;-))
