Greenfinch Lunch

Once again today the greenfinches took over the garden, arriving almost in drifts and fighting over the feeders. We keep one feeder close to the house which is less popular and gives us the chance to watch individual birds. This rather handsome male was just checking the surroundings before tucking in.
