Agricultural Cycle...

...two weeks ago this field was home to a standing crop of wheat - today it is being prepared for next year's maize crop which will be sown in the spring. This image was taken from our upstairs landing looking north.

BoB... as usual!
Beautiful shot. They are starting to harvest the tobacco here, but the cotton won't be ready until November.

Wonderful capture, great brooding clouds and one can feel the
turning of the earth with the plow kicking up the dust.

Very good shot with a stepping stone in the foreground, proper leading lines into the forest, nice proportions in the layers and excellent detail in the sky ...... such a shame about the main subject matter! (I do realise that you can't avoid it if you are to focus on your commune)
