A Year of Days: Day 17 - Voie Verte at Mauron

After a walk around the 'plan d'eau' at Mauron (where I got my trainers thoroughly soaked and muddy) I took a stroll along the beginning of the Voie Verte. This sign is new and seems to indicate that this converted rail-bed now goes all the way to Questembert. Must check this out and also find out when and if it will be extended to St. Malo on the north coast as originally planned.

This selfie taken with the 8mm rectilinear fisheye lens only about 40cm from my face.
You look warm any way. A little smile would have worked better. You are doing a nice photo diary here.

@joansmor I was trying to hold a heavy DSLR the wrong way round, keep it still and press the shutter button, all with one hand and without dropping the damned thing... smiles were an optional extra - but here's one for you ;-))

@joansmor If it's not clear from the text - this is a pedestrian and cycle route constructed on the bed of a disused railway line which now appears to cover over 50 kms. Voie Verte means green way... which it is in all senses of the term.

You look thoroughly hacked off, most untypical. Glad you left him behind.
