A Year of Days: Day 47 - Refilling the bird feeders...
We have four feeders like this which we fill with peanuts and several other feeding stations with seeds and fat. Mrs S tops them all up after we have had our lunch or, more accurately, refills them, as they are usually empty or nearly so... they're a greedy lot, our winter visitors! Here's Mrs S on refill duties in the rain this afternoon: Mitzi was more interested in scavenging the rejected wet seeds from the seed bowl which Mrs S threw on the lawn before refilling the bowl.
