Today, apart from a brief outing, I've spent much of the day sat in front of the computer doing admin stuff and tonight I had to drive to Rennes for a committee meeting which went on longer than I would have liked - don't they always!
I walked in the door just before midnight conscious that I hadn't done my diary shot for today. This is the first thing that I saw when I walked in the front door (it's behind me with the curtains drawn across it) so it became my diary image just before the witching hour... and despite my busy day and evening, you will note that I am still smiling!
The made me smile. Because it hints at that humor I adore. I had a useless day but a great one. Emailing someone. Taking bird pictures. Talking on phone with my niece and later my sister. Going to lunch with my nephew and taking a few more pictures. Buying corn for squirrels and blue jays. More picture taking. The laundry didn't get done, no vacuuming. But who cares!
