One of the first signs of Spring for us is when Gilles starts working in the fields that surround our house. The first job is to collect all the rocks that have risen to the surface during the Winter and stack them in small piles - this is a job for all Gilles' family. Later Gilles will come round with a tractor and gather them up... which is what he was doing today in the fields sown with winter wheat.
A timely reminder that Spring will get its head up next w/e.
