Le Vieux Quartier - the old quarter - of La Roche Bernard is a place of contrasts: the buildings date mainly from the 15th C - some are are almost unchanged, others have 'benefitted' from being modernised. I spotted this pair on my walk round this afternoon - they did help to brighten up a rather grey day.
