Mrs S spotted this furry moth - it's about 1.5" long - on the door jamb of our front door and 12 hours later it's still there and hasn't moved at all... I don't want to disturb it as maybe it's laying eggs in one of the cracks or joints in the wood.
We also had a hornet come visiting today but I decided that poking a macro lens in its face was probably not a good idea!
