I spent all day today in the cool of Paimpont Abbey preparing for the opening of the Cultural Season 2015 on Thursday evening. When I stepped outside just after 6 pm I was surprised by how warm it still was, so first stop - the butchers. The long dark sausages are called Merguez and are made of spicy lamb... the beef patties went on just after I took this photo. It went down a treat with some mixed salads and a glass (or several) of red!
