Most of our various fruit trees have fruited quite heavily this year; they are all coming to ripeness at the same time but are not quite ready to be harvested yet. The wind doesn't know this of course, so every day Mrs S collects the windfalls from the previous 24 hours - here's some of today's crop on the draining board waiting to be picked over.
