A Year of Days Day 281: Ploërmel Town Hall

I took a ride out to Ploërmel on the motorbike this afternoon to photograph the interior of the church - see my main 365 album. The Town Hall is a splendid building but with a large car park in front of it, it is difficult to do it justice in a photograph, but the sky was too dramatic not to at least try today... and I'm not displeased with the end result.
It's a shame about the car park, but it really is stunning and you've captured the architecture perfectly.

I great architecture. As we were riding around Portland I was amazed at all the architecture there but trying to get a clean shot especially in the city itself was all but impossible.thisis rather good by my book inspire of the cars.

Outstanding processing as always, really like this very much - I'd love to have some fun with that sky, I think it would lend itself to an apocalyptic vision very easily

The architecture is wonderful....too bad about the car park.....I almost would have cropped all those cars out to just the base of the fence in the building as the strongest parts are the building and the sky.

@panthora A crop was the first thing that I tried Osia but, to me at least, it looked odd so I went with the 'warts and all' approach. Thank you for all your visits and Favs, I very much appreciate you taking the time.

Love the architecture

Lovely looking building. I generally go for warts and all… except for architecture shots! Back in the early morning before the drivers have got up?

Painterly style proves effective for this. Particularly like the 'wind sock' flags, not forgetting the pop of red on the tricolour.

Love the gray shades, composition, architectural details

It seems that the building is ready to confront the storm

I thought for a moment I had seen this before but actually it was just a similar building that that @weezilou posted this week. There is some similarities and some big differences.
