The last house that I lived in in England has a large lake at the bottom of the road, about 300m from the house; facing the lake is a large Chinese restaurant built in traditional style. The theme is carried over to an island in the lake which is home to a small pagoda styled shrine. I rather liked this view this evening of the island and the pagoda with the lake outfall weir in the foreground.
