A Year of Days - Day 304: Éoliennes

Many people dislike éoliennes - wind turbines - intensely, but I find them fascinating, graceful and majestic as they stand tall and proud above the surrounding countryside. I can rarely resist the urge to stop and look at them, and so it was today. This pair are part of a group of seven located just outside the town of Plélan le Grand close to where I live.

I agree. I understand the complaints but having visited the mountains and seen the pollution - well wind turbines are preferable.

I agree that they are very graceful structures,Richard. If 10000 of them match the output of a nuclear power station they would look many thousand times more graceful and majestic. You must live in a windy place?
