Front Row Seats - The Saga Continues!

The mystery of The Two Dining Chairs at the Lakeside that I shared with you yesterday - http://365project.org/vignouse/doubletakes/2016-12-12 - continues!

Mrs S shared with us the reported sighting of the elderly gentleman who took these chairs from his car and placed them at the lakeside where they have remained for over a week. This picture is the view of them from the opposite direction to yesterday's shot.

Make the most of it because this morning... they were gone!
I like this sense of isolation and mystery.

The reporting sighting only lends to the wonders and possibilities of the story behind these chairs. The mist really puts the focus on the chairs, that's for sure.

Perhaps just sharing a place to think with others? This has a quiet sense of mystery. Fav!

I'm rather hoping that next time you pass by there will be an armchair or sofa there.

A little mystery that's gone around the world thanks to Project 365.....and we'll never know the answer!

perhaps the fairies needed a few extra chairs for their festivities

My theory is that his wife went away for a week. In her absence he used the chairs for fishing. The morning before his wife was due back, he gathered them up, cleaned them off her never the wiser of where they had been.

@dyanstevens It's as good a theory as any ;-)
