A view this afternoon of the Château de Brocéliande across L'Étang du Pas du Houx - the Holly Path Lake - with the ever present moor-hens in the mid-ground.
This is for my PLAY project - you can read more about it in my profile - where I'll be using a different prime lens for each month of the year: for February it's the Fujinon 18mm f/2 on an APS-C sensor camera (today the Fuji X-Pro1) - the equivalent of a 28mm lens on a full-frame camera.
@princessm Hello Decima - Mostly I set my cameras to record Jpegs in B&W plus a colour Raw file. I like to use the sooc Jpeg whenever I can but this was taken only a half-hour before dusk on a very grey day so there was very little DR or contrast in the Jpeg - I wanted more punch so I converted the Raw file with Silver Efex Pro 2.
Lovely restful scene, Richard, very well processed. Interesting how you use RAW/JPGs. We each choose a method that feels comfortable for us. I keep my jpgs small and use them to move quickly between images, examining them on the laptop to decide whether to bother with the RAW file.
