PLAY March - Fuji 60mm f/2.4: Mushrooms... by vignouse

PLAY March - Fuji 60mm f/2.4: Mushrooms...

... but none that you would want to eat - at least if you wished to tell the tale afterwards! I spotted these growing on the end of one of the logs in the woodshed.

This is for my PLAY project - you can read more about it in my profile - where I'll be using a different prime lens for each month of the year: for March it's the Fujinon 60mm f/2.4 Macro on an APS-C sensor camera (today the Fuji XT2) - the equivalent of a 90mm lens on a full-frame camera.

I'm running out of ways to say BoB!
Little dishes for the pixies - just waiting for the pixie dust!

Ah...so these are the poisonous ones? We have these all over our property on Beaver Island! I will beware!

Lovely textures, my mum used to forage for things all the time and I never thought to doubt her. Alas I never payed attention to her about what was edible and what was not!

The filigree web is the icing on the cake. Goodness knows what other delights out there await a photographic opportunity.

Mushrooms can be so elegant, like theater boxes. Love the ever so gentle light on the spider webs. Fav!
