As I've mentioned a few times, I've been a member of a small group that, for the last few months, has been working on a project with the local maternity hospital. The project is entitled 'The Adventure of Birth' and is sponsored by the municipality and the local library - today we hung the pictures in the library's exhibition space. I'm delighted that 22 of mine are included, mainly birth sequences, both natural and by caesarian section. ('Accrochage' in this context means hanging-up!)
This is for my PLAY project - you can read more about it in my profile - where I'll be using a different prime lens for each month of the year: for March it's the Fujinon 60mm f/2.4 Macro on an APS-C sensor camera (today the Fuji XT2) - the equivalent of a 90mm lens on a full-frame camera.
Indeed Joan! The Exhibition opens today...and I'll be there. I've seen R's shots whilst he was processing them etc., yet am looking forward to seeing them displayed at the Library with those of the other team members.
I love the tones & balance in this photo. I always like people in a picture so this adds to the interest. Your group sounds unusual & interesting. Fave.
