...came calling when I paused by their field hedge.
This is for my PLAY project - you can read more about it in my profile - where I'll be using a different prime lens for each month of the year: for April it's been the Fujinon 27mm f/2.8 on an APS-C sensor camera (today the Fuji X-T10) - the equivalent of a 40mm lens on a full-frame camera.
Best viewed on black to appreciate the shadow detail.
..... and all you had to offer them was this portrait! Love the tones and depth you get with your shots of woods, Richard. You manage to get composition, light and tonal range to work together. Artist, craftsman or magician? Fav
@yrhenwr Well thank you kind Sir... maybe I'm a (little) bit of all three! I do take a lot of trouble to get both a wide range of tonal values in my images and, just as importantly, good tonal separation. At the end of the day, it's only slider tweaking ;-))
You found girlfriends!
