Project 52: Week 43 - Whitby

Today we visited Whitby on the North Yorkshire coast - here's Mrs S looking out on the harbour with the ruins of Whitby Abbey on the hill behind. This is sooc and pops more when viewed on black.

What an interesting frame idea. Looks like a keyhole. And such a wide range of tonal values. Traveling in Britain for a few days? And yes, tonal ranges like this look so much better on black. The whites seem brighter, the blacks remain black, but more detail seems to emerge. Fav.
