Warning: project 365 can be hazardous for your health. You wouldn't think it, but it's true. Over the past week, when driving I'm paying less attention to the road and more to the scenery. I popped out for the weekly food shopping, and I saw something of interest; unfortunately, the huge van that had right-of-way at the roundabout I was approaching didn't know this. It was a close shave!
On the way back I took a slight detour, and I thought I'd take a few snaps of the local recycling propaganda.
It would have been easy to have taken and posted a photo of close-ups of some of the more detailed parts of the graffiti, but ultimately I settled on this for today's picture. This photo shows the magnitude of the artwork and has depth. I also like the symmetry of the concrete floor with the clear blue sky. I made the colours more vibrant in post-processing.
I planned on taking my D-SLR out with me at some point this weekend. However, the sunshine has escalated over the past few days to today's crescendo of heat, which is too much to bear when lugging equipment around. So, this afternoon I plan on relaxing and enjoying the summer sun in the garden, with a book and a beer.
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.

I'm copying your own words, as I see that perhaps you're going to lighten up a little..."this afternoon I plan on relaxing and enjoying the summer sun in the garden, with a book and a beer." And you know, I think the picture today is a delightful splash of color, a view to a place near where you live, and actually, it feels "more relaxed". Continue to have some fun with us here! No one bites!
I really like this shot, the point of interest on the left, and how the wall meanders on to the right of the frame, drawing our eyes there. Nicely done.
Fab photo you have there!
