I got to see my cousin today for the first time in over a year. Although I speak to him on Skype and over the phone, it's nice to physically see somebody you're very close to after a long while. We act like kids when we're together, and today's photo is representative of what we used to do when we first got digital cameras many years ago...
This is two images merged together in Photoshop. Now I use Photoshop occasionally, but I rely on Lightroom to edit my photos. However Jaspal - my cousin in this shot - is a graphic designer, so I must give him the credit for realising the vision I had from the photos I took. If I tried to do this I don't think it would have looked as polished!
Half a day at work tomorrow, and then ten days off. I must say that I can't wait for the time off; it's been a long time coming. There'll be lots of catching up with family and friends, some photo shoots and some relaxation time... just what I need right now!
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.
