I feel better today. I'm certainly not 100%, but it's the first day I've woken up not feeling too worse for wear. Funnily enough, because I feel better I was in the mood for taking a few shots. When I got back after visiting my mum for Mother's Day, I took some photos of another everyday object.
Here, the fan was switched on so the blades would be slightly blurred when I took it. I knew the monochrome treatment would be ideal for the subject matter before I started shooting.
Today's shot is the first since I quit this project. It's nice not having the pressure of taking a photo daily; in fact, I think it will liberate me and I might end up producing better images as I'll only devote quality time to it. I'm happy, as I'm starting to feel that passion again that I had for photography.
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.
