Aah, there’s nothing like a seaside town in winter. A bleak view. But, there’s an underlying pulse of activity (try Swanage in November, pubs are heaving).
@ninaganci it does get busy when the sun shines. @ludwigsdiana fish and chips and other fast foods served here. Also an amusement arcade. Forecast good this weekend.
@leggzy if minimal activity then opening hours maybe reduced. Currently reduced staffing because of increased sickness and isolation due to COVID. Hospitality and catering have been hit hard.
The place is meant to be full of people so strange to see it deserted. Maybe 9.00am is too early. Christine and I together with another couple friends of ours are in the sea swimming before that time and we are never alone.
