The days of receiving a salary

Not sure why I still have these as I retired 8 years ago. 40 years of working for the National health Service it was time to leave with no regrets.
Each month there was always a little excitement when the blue slips arrived knowing that there would be money in the bank.
A salariat is a white collar worker or someone who is paid a salary.

I think I have some of mine somewhere too, but I may have ditched them sometime ago. There’s no telling with me. This is a terrific choice of subject for this word though.
