It’s actually a bright sunny day and the sea and sky were blue at the time of taking this. It so easy to achieve as a mistake but took a bit of doing when doing it intentionally.
This is the road bridge onto the Island where I live and this stretch of water is known as Langstone harbour.
@ludwigsdiana Hayling Island is flat, approx 4 miles wide (in the widest parts) and 4miles long but is roughly 5 miles along the most southerly part. There is a population of about 20,000 and a thriving community. There are 2 golf courses, 3 sailing clubs plus additional boat yards, 5 churches and a few pubs.
