Rescued

This dear little bird has just flown into my window. I heard a thud and noticed it on the patio on its back. It had rapid breathing and blinking. It settled onto my hand for a few minutes. The breathing and blinking steadied. It flew to the ground and scurried behind some pots.Hopefully it was just stunned and nothing more.

Normally they survive the shock. We normally put them in a flat container with abit of water. Cute little thing.

Haven't you done this before? You must have super clean window. I read somewhere recently that dirty windows keep birds from flying into them. Nice shot of this little bird.
