Timber….

View from the bathroom window.
Immediately behind the house is a track and many trees.
Recent storms of high winds and wet weather has unstabilised this tree. At the weekend one half had blocked the track. The council are now cutting down and removing the huge tree. Poor squirrels will have to build a new home.

Reminds me of the view behind our house when the council cut down some trees with ash die back. Fortunately there are still a mix of other trees so that we don't feel exposed!

@rensala when the tree surgeon lops our trees in the garden he uses ropes. This was along a public area and amongst several trees with no stable support high up.
