Decided to join husband this afternoon on a trip out and he decided to take a narrow country lane. A lorry blocked the road delivering bricks so no room to pass so had to change route. Also very stormy skies .
An interesting sight for me. I like the thatched roofs and the stormy skies. My husband and I would set out on drives like this, often using a GPS to get us back to civilization in case we didn't know where we ended up. We'd call this route on the GPS the "pig path" mode (shortest distance from one place to another).
The sky looks quite threatening. I had forgotten just how narrow country roads are in the UK. My daughter used to say they were 'thin roads' when she was small.
Lots of thatch there! I love the look of it but am always bewildered when thatched houses have open fires in the hearth. I think I would run a mile from lighting a match! Nice mystery tour bit of fun.
