My friend Alison Wilbur gave the talk at the quilt meeting tonight. We became friends when our kids were little but for the past 12 years or so she's been traveling around the world with her husband (who's in the foreign service) and her boys. In her travels she's collected a lot of quilts. This one is from India (although Marianne thinks she said it was from England). Either way the quilt was amazing and it was great to see Alison again.
@laurielizard that's why my friend thought it was British but I distinctly remember Alison saying "the man went back to his village" and the women gave it to him for her. That sounds more like India to me!
