The highlight of my day was receiving a text from my sister with this picture and a note saying "Must be some sort of native flower. There are stakes around all the plants." I thought (briefly) about making the 8 hour drive this weekend so I could see them for myself, but thought it might be embarrassing to explain that I'd driven 395 miles to see a plant.
