Every week I make a batch of basic chicken salad that I have to divide into two or three containers so each person can add their own special ingredients. I thought this was nuts until one of my co-workers said she has to do the same thing for her family. During this conversation we also discovered a shared love of bacon and admitted that we were each texting “what the hell is happening right now?” to different sets of coworkers during a particular display of craziness in our Zoom staff meeting. We’re best friends now.
