Spent the 15 minutes between each of my virtual morning classes scanning the pages of this book in order to make a video recording for my second graders. Still unclear as to how all this will come together, but my friend Caiti assured me this plan will work with an audio voice over. We’ll see about that.
BTW, I was just texting my granddaughter, a high school junior whose school is all virtual. Her AP Language teacher is moving and had to resign. The new teacher does not grade writing assignments but gives participation points. I am close to tears. I am a former English teacher but have no knowledge of the AP exam. My college student did well in this class, so we will work on a plan.
@eudora Oh my gosh that’s crazy horrible! Participation for writing?! I feel like writing is such a lost art. I don’t know anything about the AP exam either, but it’s a good thing she has you to help her.
