Took this picture yesterday while running to the subway to catch a train, but was studying it today thinking what a great quilt it would make. I didn’t notice the snowflake reflected in the window above the door and the tiny drawing of the dogs bumping noses until I was cropping it tonight, but now I like it even better. Don’t know what it’s a door to — it has a peephole, but I don’t see a handle.
@eudora I know! I keep going back to look at it. I Googled it after posting the picture and found another shot of it on Pinterest. It looks like it was shades of red, magenta, pink, and brown — maybe when it was first painted? Funny, because I was thinking of making the quilt red and white. There are a lot more details in the Pinterest photo that seem to have worn off by this time.
