I left today, from the train station at the bottom of the hill of Lucignana, in the little town of Ghivizzano. It always amuses me how, on the loudspeaker system, they talk of "the train arriving at platform 1" as if there was more than one - the second platform was closed years ago, even before my parents moved here over 16 years ago!
