The Olympic Torch came through town today - in the right hand of a fast sprinting man (so I barely caught him on camera before he disappeared round the corner).
The athletics are of particular interest to me as my grandfather, Sydney Wooderson, was a famous runner in his time and held the world mile record (at just over 4 minutes 6 seconds) for about five years.
Shamefully, however, I do not have the desire to go running myself!
