Santa Croce is the largest Franciscan church in the world, with sixteen chapels, frescos by Giotto, and monuments to such illustrious people as Da Vinci, Dante and Michelangelo.
I spent 40 minutes here but could have done with much longer! It's a treasure trove of delights.
