My mum (second from left) with friends she first met when we lived in the Maremma (southern Tuscany) years back.
We lost touch two decades ago when we moved to Lucignana, but they now have a holiday retreat in Castelnuovo, a short drive away, so it was a good opportunity to reconnect, invite them to dinner and catch up on all the news!
