When my friend Lori wanted me to take a quilt-making class with her, I was hesitant. What was I gonna do with another quilt? I ended up taking the class applying the principles taught and made a mini quilt.
It took me just as long to make my mini log cabin quilt for the wall as others took to make one for their bed. I used vintage and vintage-inspired fabric cut into tiny strips. The most fun of all was sewing it by hand. I had it framed for our bedroom and look at this piece everyday. I love to work in mini.
