Visiting the Wrigley Memorial & Botanical gardens was one of my favorite things we did on our trip to Catalina. The weather was beautiful, the hike through the desert fauna was fascinating, the artistry in materials, design and craftsmanship was awe-inspiring and the view overlooking the canyon and out to the water was so very spiritual.
I laid on the marble floor to take this photo of the huge tiled archway overlooking William Wrigley, Jr’s preferred resting place. I’m sorry they moved him to Forest Lawn. I would have wanted to spend eternity here too.
