On the morning of Day 4 I got up early and headed over to cousin Sally’s condo (about 1/4 mile from our hotel) to meet her for a morning walk. Starting off on the outdoor walkway from the hotel through the South Village neighborhood, it was a delightful morning. I love this painted artwork I spotted on the corner of a building near Sally’s condo.
We hit the road headed towards Wilmington after the Sunday morning brunch at Allison and Jeff’s. It was an easy 2-1/2 hour drive to SusanR’s and Brad’s place where we unpacked then ventured out to a park for a Harris Teeter fried chicken dinner. We topped the day off with yummy ice cream at Milly’s. How fun to spend time with them again.
